Terrance Lane Millet

 Terrance Lane Millet, M.A., M.F.A.

I have an M.F.A. in Creative Writing: Fiction, from Oregon State University, where I studied under Tracy Daugherty, Marjorie Sandor, and Ehud Havazelit, all award-winning writers.  My B.A. in English Literature is from Huron University in Ontario, Canada, where I put in another post-grad year of honors studies in English Literature, and my M.A.  is from the University of Western Ontario.

I teach creative writing workshops here at LBCC for short fiction, script writing, and poetry writing.  Because the workshop model works well , I use it for my literature courses as well, so the classes are discussion driven and very collaborative.

My professional specialties are fiction and poetry writing, and my work has been published in various journals and small presses.  Most recently, my stories have appeared in the issues of The Hopkins Review, published out of the Johns Hopkins University.

I've just completed one of a series of three novels, Bones in the Dam, and plan to have the sequel, Bones Redux, completed in 2016.
