About me:

Isn't it always about me?

I have been teaching for LBCC for several years, and am currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Cultural Studies and Social Thought in Education through Washington State University (Go Cougs!). My areas of expertise include composition, multiethnic literature, ethnic studies, and critical multiculturalisms in education. I'm interested in expanding my understanding of intersectionalities and how these affect people's lives. My belief is that writing and literature are two avenues through which these intersectionalities can be explored.

Course-related information:

I use Canvas for a learning management system (LMS). If you have already registered for a class, I will be sending an invitation to Canvas to add you to the course shell. There you will find our course syllabus and all class-related materials.

Late add policy: Students wishing to get added must show up in class on the first day, and if there are openings, I will sign an add slip. Attendance on the first day is required to add. No late adds will be accommodated.
