Welcome to the Mechatronics/Industrial Automation Technology Program.


A mechatronics technician is a cross between a millwright in mechanical skills, an industrial electrician in troubleshooting expertise, and a computer programmer in programming and operating automated equipment including industrial robots and commercial heating and cooling systems. Promoting energy efficiency is a growing aspect of this trade.


 

The full Mechatronics Program leads to a 2-year AAS degree. 

A one year (Industrial Mechanic)prepares people for entry level work industrial and commercial jobs. Details for this certificate are found in the current catalog.
