Elijah, or Eli, is part-time faculty at Linn Benton Community College.  Eli teaches CJ 120, Introduction to the Judicial System (also called, Mock Trial).  Apart from teaching at LBCC, Eli practices criminal defense in Albany, Oregon.  His practice ranges from simple misdemeanors and property crimes, to major felonies and Measure 11 crimes.

Eli began his academic career here at LBCC starting in the animal science and agriculture department.  After attending LBCC, he went to BYU–Idaho in Rexburg, Idaho, where he finished with a Bachelors Degree in Political Science and a minor in Animal Science.

After moving back to Oregon, Eli attended Willamette University College of Law, where he earned his Doctorate of Jurisprudence degree (J.D.).  Immediately after law school, he began working for the storied Weatherford Thompson law firm, where he still serves "of counsel" in trial-related matters.
