Art Mota

Art is in his second year of teaching soccer for our department.  He has had his USSF E/D coaching license since 1996.  He coached the Under-19 Boys Roosevelt Revolution Soccer Club in Fresno, CA from 1996-1998.  Was the Under-17 Boys coach for the Fresno Monarchs Soccer Club in 1999. He was also the JV Boys coach at Edison High School in Fresno from 1997-2001 and from 1995-1997 was the JV Boys coach at Roosevelt High School also in Fresno. 
From 1996 - 2007, Art was also a USSF referee. He has officiated games at the following levels in California: middle school, high school, junior college, four-year college, and amateur men.
For the 2008-09 season, Art was the Strength and Conditioning Coach for the Women's Basketball team here at LBCC. Art is currently the Advisor/Head Coach for the LBCC Soccer Club.
Art graduated in 2006 from California State University, Fresno with a BS in Kinesiology with a GPA of 3.1 and is a member of the American College of Sports Medicine. He is currently earning his Master's degree in Sports Coaching/Sports Psychology from the United States Sports Academy.
