Welcome to ED 252, Behavior Management, for spring term 2013!
I'm looking forward to learning with you and from you as we explore the curriculum and other resources during the term. I bring 34 years of experience in Oregon public education - 12 as a classroom teacher and I am currently in my 22 year as a principal. My current position is principal at Hoover Elementary School in Corvallis.
Effective behavior management systems and strategies are the most essential components one must have in place in order to be a successful educator, whether it be as a teacher or in a parprofessional support role. More importantly, it is essential to insure all children are able to learn to their fullest potential.
As the term progresses, I will be adding resources, such as websites, articles, videos and book suggestions, to this page.
Currently you will find the course syllabus, which includes the class schedule, information on grading and other resources of value to you as an LBCC student.
