I was born and raised in Thailand. I received my B.S. from Chiang Mai University, Thailand, and had a short-term research internship at University of New South Wales, Australia. I came to the U.S. in 2009 and went to Oregon State University for my Ph.D. in computational organic chemistry. After completion of the program, I worked at Willamette University as a visiting assistant professor in chemistry from 2015 - 2018. I started to work at LBCC in Fall 2018 as a Full Time Chemistry Faculty.
My desire as a chemistry teacher is ultimately to enrich students appreciation of chemistry, help them see how chemistry plays a role in the world around them, and help them to be able to apply the learning and problem-solving skills in their lives. I use active learning approach in my class, where students participate in several fun activities and get to see awesome demonstration!
